This time last year, I was in the midst of planning for my road trip to Puglia. While I was on the road, I wrote daily notes on the blog and shared photos on my Instagram account. I fell in love with Puglia even before getting there and it did not disappoint. Although I do recommend spending more than 6 days driving around that region, it’s one of the best road trips I’ve ever done. Puglia is located in Italy’s “heel”. It is one of the country’s least touristy spots with pristine waters, beautiful architecture, soaring mountains, deep caves, a rocky coastline dotted with beaches, silver green olive groves, vineyards, white cities, a great culinary culture and so much more. Since summer has returned, I have been thinking about it and wishing I could go back. I’ve been going through my photos and thought I’d share, just in case you need more reasons to fall in love with Puglia. Careful, scrolling through these may make you want to buy a ticket to Italy right away (which wouldn’t be a bad thing really)!
